OBJECTIVE

Licensed and bonded Investigator with over 29 years of law enforcement experience; trained in interview and interrogation techniques, narcotics enforcement, SWAT trained, skilled in reading public records and undercover/surveillance operations, and experienced in the position of being a supervisor; is offering services as a licensed Private Investigator as part owner of Milwaukee Private Detectives, LLC.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced as a Lieutenant of Police, assigned to the Patrol Division. Duties include, but are not limited to street supervision, scheduling, reviewing and approving reports, officer evaluations, fielding and investigating citizen complaints and acting as Commanding Officer in the absence of the Shift Captain.

Previous assignment was the Director of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Group, a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement task force. Duties included the supervision of personnel and case management, supervision of street operations, budgeting, policy and procedure formation and implementation, managing numerous money accounts including seized drug money and buy funds, managing evidence seizure and storage, administering seizure and forfeiture actions and proceedings, attending commission meetings and providing reports to both the Commission and the State of Wisconsin, Office of Justice Assistance, and fostering cooperation between numerous Local, State and Federal Agencies.

February of 1984 to February of 1987, assigned to the West Allis PD Special Investigations Unit (SIU) investigating drug and narcotics trafficking in and around the City of West Allis . Promoted to Detective in February of 1987, and then transferred back into SIU in February of 1989. During the 8 years spent in SIU, approximately 2 years was spent in an undercover assignment.

June of 1990, promoted to Detective Sergeant and was second in command of SIU.

Upon establishment of the West Allis PD Crisis Response Unit (SWAT), was placed second in command of the unit. Responsibilities included handling of the tactical teams in both a command post setting, as well as direct supervision of the tactical teams, and the development and approval of tactical plans and movements during a call-up situation. Served as commander of aforementioned unit until relieved because of transfer. Also have managed, directed, and been personally involved in the execution of hundreds of narcotics and other search warrants.

Past-President of the Wisconsin Narcotics Officer's Association and Past-President of the Association of SWAT Personnel – Wisconsin . Also involved in the training of hundreds of SWAT Officers throughout the State of Wisconsin.

In 29 years as a Law Enforcement Officer, 17 have been in a supervisory role.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
