KEY FEATURES:

Remote/RF Wireless Operations:

The Wireless First Responder System (Item# ETG-WFR-SYS) is supplied with a VHF Wireless Transmitter Pack and two different microphone options (lapel or headset) that may be used to transmit/project an operator’s live voice to a single or multiple Loudspeakers (see Range Hailer Configuration) located up to 200 ft. away.  The VHF Wireless Transmitter Pack may also be used to transmit/project pre-recorded messages or sounds by connecting the device to an external audio source (digital voice recorder, PC, MP3 player, etc…) via the supplied Audio Cable with 1/8” (3.5mm) Plugs.

The Wireless First Responder System is also supplied with a Remote Volume Control Dial accessory.  This unique accessory allows an operator to remotely increase or decrease the volume output level of the audio being projected through Loudspeaker(s) during Remote/RF Wireless Operations. When set at maximum volume output level the Loudspeaker is capable of projecting audio at an approx. sound pressure level of 105dB!

The Wireless First Responder System’s Remote/RF Wireless Operations capability is particularly valuable when responding to a dangerous situation such as an active-shooter or hostage/barricade standoff as it allows for the operator to communicate with the subject(s) while staying out of “harms-way” and under proper cover.

Local/Wired Operations:

The Wireless First Responder System is supplied with a Handheld Microphone with 1/4” (6.35mm) Plug which may be connected directly to the Loudspeaker’s MIC IN jack to allow the device to be used like a bull-horn.  The Loudspeaker is also equipped with LINE IN jack to allow the device to connect to and project sound from an external audio source as well.

6 to 8 Hour Battery Continuous Run-Time:

The Wireless First Responder Loudspeaker is supplied with an internal rechargeable sealed lead-acid gel battery.  When fully charged, this battery can power the Loudspeaker continuously for 6 to 8 hours.  The Loudspeaker may be operated for an unlimited time when the device is connected to an external power supply via the supplied AC Power Charger/Adapter.

Compact & Portable:

The dimensions of the Wireless First Responder Loudspeaker are 8.50 X 7.10 X 11.20” and it weighs less 9 lbs which makes the device highly portable. Each Loudspeaker is also delivered with a custom/padded deployment case to help protect the unit during operations in inclement weather conditions.
